What a nightmare, going through an endless cycle of battle, injury, healing, and then battle again. Yosano's ability legitimately felt like a curse beyond a certain point.

Deus The Great • 1 year ago

It's a curse because she met the wrong person, but now she meets the right people who don't take advantage over her ability.

bruh her ability is more necessary evil than good

GreenTea Gal • 1 year ago

there is nothing evil about her damn power, just the people tryna exploit it

that my point her power can do more damage than etc just like perfect crime dude yeah it depends on wielder but dangerous power still dangerous example is chuuya clone that decide get locked up in port mafia wonder if he will show up later so we have 2 gravity gods wreck the leader of dead angel hunting dogs because literally so far only power of gravity is best handle that dude

Say that again after you lost half of your body or at least an arm.

Seeing how many times he was “healed” made me speechless. Actually forgot to breathe for a bit

DAZAI • 1 year ago

One of the reasons why odasaku made me leave more evil and join less evil... season 2 flashbacks.........

vovan1 • 1 year ago

yeah they should have had a break cycle in between :)
very bad management. But her ability perfect for stalemate battles. If she just stopped taking the attachment to soldiers seriously, but yeah she was still young.

Fayt Leingod • 1 year ago

sadly the enemy didnt eve dwindle meaning that war is one sided BS add the fact that they are not geared properly so ya its BS

Ranpo was the one to save her😭

Fukuzawa is to Ranpo. Now Ranpo is to Yosano 😭

Dazai is to Atsushi. Atsushi is to Kyouka 😭

kaeyasupremacy • 1 year ago

I still can't believe Ranpo is the oldest

And here I thought he's one of the youngest.

Meh • 1 year ago

Nah Kyouka one of the youngest.

Me, too. I thought he's just a teen.

Dude of Culture • 1 year ago

What about dazai ?

SkyNatsu • 1 year ago

Hmm probably Kunikida???

Chuuya's fancy hat • 1 year ago

I'd say nobody. Dazai is probably the most loneliest person in the series without any real person to trust or for support. The only one he had, Odasaku is gone. Ango's betrayal makes it impossible for Dazai to trust him a second time. Now Chuuya could have been in that role if they didn't butt heads so often. Nevertheless, we don't know if Dazai will even survive by the end of the series but even if he doesn't I hope he finds some solace in Chuuya atleast before he goes.
Notice how Dazai is the only one who never gets too involved with anyone or anything of the ADA. That's how we know Dazai tries to not catch any deep feelings for anything. He and Kunikida have too less soulful understanding. The only person who truly ever fully understood the entirety of Dazai is Odasaku. So, Odasaku for Dazai. But he's gone so there's no one.
Sorry this is a bit long. Just had to clear it out bc Dazai is way too complex a character to be determined with just a few words.

NatsuDragneel27 • 3 months ago

What do you mean the loneliest? He have Fukuzawa, Kunikida, and Atsushi.

Chuuya's fancy hat • 2 months ago

Well did you ever see him connect with them much? Spend much time with them? If you watch closely, ADA members are always searching for him when he has to do a job or nag him to do it when he's actually in the office wherein he's usually lying down or minding his own business.
Dazai wouldn't be suicidal if he didn't feel lonely deep down. You know having company around you doesn't always mean that you're not lonely.

NatsuDragneel27 • 2 months ago

If he's really serious about doing that then he will. There are a lot of ways to suicide, but he just can't. And also, what do you mean by "without any real person to trust or for support" are they just things or fake people? Dazai would just leave ADA if he can't trust them lol

This show isn't boring, though.

Love this

joblesshobo • 1 year ago

Wow I didn't expect Ranpo and Yosano had that kind of history. Always thought Ranpo is one of the youngest in the agency.

shiki. • 1 year ago

yosano is actually just one year younger than ranpo, and ranpo is the eldest among ADA excluding fukuzawa

Serif Mango • 1 year ago

Ranpo is 26, he just always acts like a child

Meh • 1 year ago

So in that scene, Yosano was 14 and Rampo 15.

This is the first time I've watched an anime where they decided to flip over their main protagonist, the characters that were secondary in the first two seasons now are the main focus of the story, its a nice and refreshing change for the typical Anime formula of story telling. I'm sure this isn't the first time that its done but as far as I know and seen it is for me. With that said, the story hasn't been perfect, there are certain elements that feel slightly lazy, for example the way they used the notebook's page to rewrite and frame the Agency felt too lazy, they could have found a better way of going about it and make it feel like more like one of those "who done it" type of films. I've always enjoyed how they present character's special abilities in this series but sometimes they feel like a crutch that the author uses for the story.

Enorme-san • 1 year ago

I have always said this, but imo the main character is the only weak part of the story. Everything else is almost perfect to me but Atsushi is one the least interesting MC’s i’ve seen. But thankfully the others get so much screentime they can carry the show.

Lucy Heartfilia • 1 year ago

I know right! I would've legit dropped this anime after season one because of the MC. But thank God that every season focuses on other people and this is what makes this anime great and also one of the best underrated anime I've ever seen

Mycroft • 1 year ago

I'd say that the author and the story itself doesn't revolve around Atsushi and that's made a clear and certain point, to diverse the plot and make a more interesting and good story with a numbers of high point and lows. And as we know, it's always Atsushi, the MC that they presented is the one who take down the powerful antagonist each season that makes him look more MC that he literally is.

Nikko Sisou • 12 months ago

how is Atsushi still so weak? I will never understand that. He could be an absolute menace if he applied himself.

Furry Slayer • 8 months ago

Atsushi isn't boring, though.

someone • 1 year ago

Bro the note that can rewrite reality already exists from the 2nd season.so I feel like it WOULD be lazy writing if the author just forgot about it and didn't use it for other reasons like this

aluber ofalbaz • 1 year ago

the tension is not from "who done it" but "how will they done it" and they build it up really good. Also I like how they suddenly change to the culprits.

Athul Stani • 1 year ago

But the book part is one of the more interesting points of the story imo. Cuz it's not like one random day the agency woke up as criminals, fyodor had to plan everything out till the end and the only thing he did with the book was switch the places of the detective agency and boom. The book didn't do everything, only that last part. The rest of it is fyodors genius. And the agency working to somehow change the damage the book did is really interesting as well, not to mention dazai and fyodor playing mind chess in the prison.
